MC Dubgee returns with The Mayoral Mixtape, a politically charged album that takes on hot issues starting right within the artist's hometown of Vancouver, Canada

In 2011, Dubgee ran for Mayor in Vancouver. For his platform he wrote this E.P. focusing on what the relevant issues were to him; gentrification and housing, missing and murdered indiginous women, the incestous relationships between business and politics and police brutality. He received 419 votes in the civic election and was nominated by the Vancouver Sun as the candidate most likely to swear at you.
